Who are we?

This year’s organizing team expanded to include MolBio master’s students from more majors and bachelor students from the biosciences track. Since the end of last year, we have worked continuously to put this event series together. It started with deciding this year’s lineup, then reaching out to and booking the speakers - an effort which involved the entire team. Wendelin and Caden helped us successfully apply for QSM funds (Qualitätssicherungsmittel) which are provided to universities in Baden-Württemberg, averaging around 280€ per student each semester. Students can submit proposals to finance non-mandatory educational events for their university’s student body. We used our funds for advertising and inviting an external speaker. Regarding the former, Ana, Iva, and Vincenzo created the designs for posters, flyers, announcement posts, and merch. Credits for this year’s awesome tiger logo go to Niklas. Alex and Caden helped organize the logistics of printing our merch. This website was built and formatted by Luna. Our instagram account is under Ana’s diligent management. Edwyn and Wendelin arranged for our external speaker, Eduardo Mateo Bonmatí, to come to Heidelberg from Madrid and participate in ‘Life of P.I.’. Room bookings, scheduling meetings, and drafting announcements, info posts, inquiries, etc. were taken care of by Rebecca. Norin was in charge of snacks and goodies acquisition.
