Jasmin Onistschenko
Jasmin has a special position is this season’s talks, because like most of us she completed her masters in Heidelberg. After this she stayed and finished her PhD about stem cells and lineage tracing in fish in 2024 in Prof. Lazaro Centanins lab.
Since then, she has left academia and joined a dental chemistry company based in Bensheim, where prophylaxis powders for dentists are developed and produced. As a project manager, she oversees R&D projects as well as a variety of other projects, including the construction and relocation to the company’s new building.
Jasmin will be able to give insights on a career path that is less focused on paper publications and grant writing and focussed more on life in industry, showing what is different but also what is similar about it.
